For this project, I was challenged to create a series of Instagram stories announcing the headliners for a fictitious music festival called "Trippy City Fest." This festival would be held at Millennium Park in Chicago, Illinois, and would take place from July 4th through the 6th. The goal for this project was to capture a retro, groovy style that would match the groovy vibes of the festival itself, as well as the artists being showcased. These files are 1080 x 1920 pixels, the standard size for Instagram story content. The announcements were mostly created using Adobe Illustrator, with Adobe Photoshop being used to add the texture and create the mockups. Additionally, Photoshop was used to create the GIF found at the bottom of the page, which displays what these stories might look like if they were being cycled through on a real phone.
